INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION:
- Clean windshield of dirt, etc. Vinyl will not stick to waxed/polished surfaces.
- SOAP & WATER METHOD: Mix 1 part soapy water and 2 parts regular water into a spray bottle and thoroughly wet surface. Remove banner with transfer tape from paper backing and place banner on windshield. The soapy mixture will allow you to move the banner around the windshield without it sticking to the surface yet. If the banner starts sticking before you have figured out the positioning, re-wet the surface. Position banner in place and squeegee all water out from under the banner, pushing the water towards the edges. Leaving water under the banner will cause bubbles, so take your time removing the water from underneath. Once the banner is adhered to the windshield, trim the top, left and right edges. Next, carefully remove the transfer tape from the vinyl. Do this slowly as you may risk tearing the vinyl. Once the transfer tape is off, you can trim any excess vinyl from the edges and wipe off any transfer tape residue with alcohol or window cleaner.
- WITHOUT SOAPY WATER: Carefully position the banner in place before removing the vinyl with the transfer tape off of the paper backing. (It is much easier with 2 or 3 people helping to apply!) Once you have desired position and height, carefully remove the paper backing from one corner and start squeegeeing down the vinyl from one corner of the banner, continuing towards the other side of the banner. Roll the paper backing off from underneath little by little as you squeegee the banner onto the windshield. Squeegeeing as you remove the paper backing will prevent air bubbles. Once the banner is adhered to the windshield, trim the top, left and right edges. Next, carefully remove the transfer tape from the vinyl. Do this slowly as you may risk tearing the vinyl. Once the transfer tape is off, you can trim any excess vinyl from the edges and wipe off any transfer tape residue with alcohol or window cleaner.
- **Each banner has extra space from the text to the top of the banner in order to adjust height / how much the banner will cover the top of your windshield. Shifting the banner more towards the top will make the visor skinnier, and shifting the banner down will cause the visor to be thicker.
